Great position on beach. Service was great. And food was good too. Enjoyed it.

Great location, friendly staff (apparently more hurried due to the owners trying to make more money at the expense of their ability to give exceptional service*) and... fantastic food. *owners please note - and try not to ensure your staff are led to early graves :)

Stunning views. Excellent piping hot food. Service was good and prices reasonable for the setting. Will definitely call again when in the area.

A lovely restaurant overlooking the beach. Good quality food which is reasonably priced. It's both dog and family friendly. Can be busy in evenings so best to book.

Dropped in here Feb 2020 and had two early evening meals.. Burger and steak we both agreed were the best we have ever tasted. We will return in summer, as the view and whole experience were unmatched.

We loved this place but over the years it has become very scruffy and the staff are the same. Last visit was end of January 20 the whole place needed a good clean. were

Excellent position and excellent view... that's all!Food is only slightly good.You can't complain about the staff...they are extremely short staffed, owner or manager do something about it.

Food was bland basic over cooked . Chicken skewers starters and cod & burger main meal.

Visited today (27 January). Staff were excellent: friendly and helpful throughout. Food was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Nice range of good, helpful staff, dog friendly and right on the beach

The location is great but the service is terribly slow. We waited thirty minutes for drinks we had ordered (I had to ask for a drinks menu after sitting watching the staff mill around for ten minutes ) , then another fifteen to order food after we were inexplicably moved indoors to eat. Loads of things were not available, ginger beer for cocktails, Italian meat for a pizza, sweet potato fries. Still waiting for the food to arrive. This used to be a nice place. I would avoid until the service improves to be honest.

I went here with my girlfriend for drinks.It was OK, but they were restrictive with where we could sit for only buying drinks (Only on the 'high' tables), despite the fact that the restaurant was basically empty when we were in there. They also seemed a bit disorganised as there was no-one there to great us when we arrived, which made us assume that we could just sit anywhere but a waitress had to chase us down when we did this. The soft drinks were quite expensive too.It's OK, I'm not sure id go again though.

After a nice long walk to the end of the beach and back the view is beautiful to sit and enjoy a welcome beer. Dog friendly and a nice atmosphere. Will go again

Fantastic looking place, whoever designed the interior is a genius. Classic chain though. I mean, when you ask for an orange juice, the poor guy is forced by sone unseen power to put five huge ice cubes in it. When you say you don't want much ice, he laughs nervously and just puts four huge pieces of ice in. Then you can see how easy it is to get three glasses of orange juice out of half a carton of orange juice.

Reasonably priced good quality food and beer (Peroni!). Sit inside or our with great views of the beech. Use Battery Road car park for easy short walk to bar and beach. Staff are helpful and professional, and bar is modern and very high standard. Well worth a visit. Dog friendly.

Really good place to eat and drink. Good service and good food.

The service was a disgrace. The manager was more interested in sorting out the bar which opened at 12 then sorting out the breakfast mess. Rather than put all the breakfast ordered by my wife onto 1 plate it came out on 2? Such a brilliant place right by the beach but appalling.

Really liked it here. Amazing location, right on the beach. Good selection of food, and plenty of it. A little on the expensive side for a Brains but I think you pay for the location. Lovely decor too. Plenty of parking. £1 per hour ish

The food was great, the cocktails were great and the scenery is fantastic! The only reason I didn't award 5 stars is due to the speed of service at the bar. It's so slow!

Great location right on the beach. Rustic interior. Plenty of seating outside too. Busy but friendly. Dog friendly inside and out! 😊Food looked really good. Staff were lovely. Will go again.

Went in here for lunch as it’s fairly local to us. Only about a dozen people in. Had to wait 10 minutes before our order was taken, then another 45 minutes for our food. After we had eaten, I asked for the bill. After another long wait, we went to find the waitress. She was now making drinks for another table. Eventually, someone else took our payment. Altogether the worst service we have ever received. Having said that, the food was amongst the best we have ever had.

It is always staffed with nice, polite and helpful servers. The menu is varied and tasty too and reasonably priced. It has a lovely ambiance inside with tasteful furnishings. It has great views of the beach, sea, coastline and Caldey Island.

We have just had the most amazing evening celebrating a 40th birthday here. Staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble, they looked after every member of our party from young to older. 🙂 The food was really good and enjoyed by all of us. Great evening. Thank you very much for making it such a special evening.

Food was average we had ribeye steak, the service was hit and miss the gentleman was very friendly but very forgetful we had to order twice. The other staff was only interested with the large tables and the manager was ignorant seemed to only talk to the regulars.

A nice little bay with a cafe a bar ect. Dog friendly too with doggy icecream.

Excellent service, good food and tremendous value, all on New Year's Eve! Definitely 5 star
